Chief Underwriting OfficerGregory is Chief Underwriting Officer and is based in Bermuda.
A highly experienced underwriter, Gregory spent much of his career with Amlin, where he was ultimately Head of Property Treaty, before establishing AmTrust Re at Lloyd’s.
Gregory has particular expertise in portfolio and data analytics, property catastrophe modelling and exposure management and brings these skills to our portfolio management.
Having been with Conduit Re at launch as Head of Property, Gregory was promoted to Chief Underwriting Officer during 2022 and has responsibility for all underwriting activity. Gregory is a member of the Executive Committee.

Head of CasualtyMario has over 30 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry and a wealth of expertise and knowledge relevant to his role. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles in both an underwriting capacity as well as actuarial.
Mario joined Conduit from BMS Re, where he was Head of Casualty Treaty and Actuarial. Prior to BMS Re, Mario held senior underwriting roles at several leading reinsurance companies, including at JRG Re, QBE Reinsurance, XL Capital and most latterly as Head of Casualty and Actuarial at Everest Re, Bermuda.
Mario is based in Bermuda and is responsible for managing Conduit Re’s global casualty underwriting team. He leads the continued development and delivery of the company’s casualty strategy, ensuring that Conduit Re continues to provide its clients with innovative and effective reinsurance solutions.

He was previously at Liberty Mutual Reinsurance where he was responsible for managing the London Market and International Casualty reinsurance portfolios. Prior to Liberty, Angus worked at Ascot Syndicate 1414.
Angus is based in Bermuda and is responsible for managing Conduit Re’s International Casualty and Long Tail Specialty underwriting teams with accountability for the continued development and delivery of Conduit’s global casualty strategy, ensuring that Conduit Re continues to provide its clients with innovative and effective reinsurance solutions.
