Our underwriting approach is geographically impartial and largely product neutral between quota share and excess of loss. Since our launch in December 2020, we have built a robust business with a diversified portfolio. Across our target classes, we have built scale and presence – key elements in establishing Conduit’s footprint, resilience and relevance.
By design, we have built an underwriting team with a thorough understanding of the underlying insurance classes – they are best placed, in our view, to identify and respond to both key emerging trends and specific risk opportunities. Deliberately, we have sought out individuals with a broader grasp of the reinsurance value chain and the various products within it.
The team is based in one location, Bermuda, and work collaboratively with our pricing actuaries and modelling analysts. This approach allows us to make effective and efficient decisions and build a sustainable business for the long-term benefit of our stakeholders.
